"Not many short positions possibly because of the API statistics."

Does API stand for "Accident Prone Individuals"? You're talking to a guy who got hit by a bus in Guatemala City. The jovial anesthesiologist ready to assist in pinning my collar bone back together happened to speak good English. He says, "How're ya feeling? A bit under the weather I bet." From the operating table I replied, "No--under the bus." Porque me sucede. I wasn't shorting any crude oil at the time, however.

Who needs oil, silver's up 6 cents more overseas.

Thanks for the post on the prices Bo Bob, particularly the silver update. Like your take on the markets except for the stock market. There is too much bearishness out there for stocks to go down. My work says we go up for a while longer. While bonds are strong, it's hard to take the stock market down. Regards...george
