Yes- they're wrong. Mostly, I suspect, from their political desires to be "one" with the black community- even when that community is being stupid and self destructive by picking the wrong case to get behind. But I can say that, because I'm not black, and I don't need to count on their support. So when I agree with them- because they've actually got a good point, I can say so. And when they do something really stupid, I can point that out as well. Would be a bummer to be hamstrung by my politics and not be able to say exactly what I think. Luckily, I'll never be in that positions. I can swing both ways. Woo hoo (or maybe ooh la la would be more apt)

IMO... Yes, Obama and Holder know that there is a problem out there and I also believe they know that using Brown as the poster boy followed by the looting, arson and violence hasn't done one positive thing to make things better.
As a matter of fact I find myself getting more adamant about the Black Leadership (those congressman and others) stepping up and talking straight about Black Community problems as Sharpton started to do at the Trayvon Martin funeral.
