Hi Kirk, Seadrll (SDRL) has suspended the dividend....

But I look for the others on this list to acquire smaller companies that could be in a cash bind.

All of these companies have very low p/e's and relatively high earnings compared to similar market cap companies.

Boone Pickens still thinks oil is headed to the $100 to $200 range. I consider him an outlier in oil price projections.

A lot of marginal players will bite the dust...or be acquired.

The companies I listed will survive and prosper.

It will just take one major unfortunate event to send oil prices to a much higher range.

I didn't wait for any consolidation in WPX as it has collapsed over 50% and if we're not at the bottom I am thinking we are close. Not a strong stock but it is one I own and pays dividends. I am able to do this as it was free when WMB gave them to me :)

My thinking we are close is the fact they are saying we will end up with 60-65 bucks a barrel and were close to that now.

Some may laugh at me but playing events is part of my silly strategy. It is one of the reasons I own many of the stocks I do. WMB and PCG are two of them, see Enron. I consider this an event.

Cheers and hope everyone has a great holiday season !
