There is no economic basis for your claims. What you posted, in effect, are excuses.

Most economists agree the recovery has been inordinately slow. But there is no consensus on why that is, since it tends to align on political views. It is a fact that Bush's TARP program stopped what would have become a depression from becoming one.

But anyone remotely familiar with basic economics and who is somewhat objective can see the reason in black-and-white. When you increase the cost of hiring, you're going to get less of it. When you THREATEN to increase the cost of hiring, you're going to get less of it. These are facts that really aren't in dispute amongst those of us who have ever run businesses. We know what makes us hire someone or decide not to do so.

There is no doubt at all that Obama policy has taken what should have been a quick recovery and dragged it out for what will clearly end up being 7-8 years -- it should have been over in two, maybe three years and the economy should be booming right now. And it isn't.

In effect, just as in the Great Depression, idiotic economic policy has dragged this recession out far beyond what it should have been. Until these policy screwups are fixed (repeal of ACA, cutback on incentives not to work) the economy is going to be lousy and improvement will continue to be gradual.
