You proved nothing more than that a little partisan weasel can copy and paste, verbatim, a desperate press release made by the asshole who nearly destroyed our economy. A press release made in response to an attack on that asshole by the Washington Times, a conservative rag. And you proved that you think by copying, unsourced, this desperate propaganda put out directly by the weasel who was on watch, you might convince someone here you have some intelligence, which you don't. History is history. People will never forget what the republican Bush admin did to our economy.

Your documentation doesn't explain why bankers came up with crazy mortgage options, why appraisers approved market values that made no sense, why loan packagers approved credit reports that stunk up the joint and why wall streeters buried the bad loans deep in derivative packages that few bothered to review. The reason all that shit happened is not because of the legislation but because: NO ONE WAS WATCHING THE HEN HOUSE.
