Less, here's another argument seemingly in favor of torture.

If torture isn't effective, why do our enemies practice it whenever they can? Is it because they get a kick out of it, or is it because they can actually get useful information out of POWs?

By the way, I'm just playing devil's advocate here, if you haven't noticed. Ask me again later for my "nuanced" opinion on the CIA's "torture" practices.
