Between the QEs and the deficits, we got addicted to... relative prosperity, paid for with borrowed money. You are right, as people gradually realize what happened, it may turn spooky.

I see lots of nasty looking charts. SP is clearly weak and "unstable" - but the VIX, for some reason, is down today. Gotto be careful out there... :)
