FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/15/14 -- Lam Research Corporation (LRCX) today announced that, effective Monday, December 22, 2014, the company will be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index® . The NASDAQ-100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. The Index reflects companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade, and biotechnology.
"Lam's inclusion in the NASDAQ-100 Index is a proud moment for the company and validates our strong track record of outperformance and execution," said Doug Bettinger, executive vice president and chief financial officer. "Most importantly, this milestone would not be possible without the dedication of our employees worldwide and the trust our customers place in us."
