David, thanks for the reminder. I've certainly been guilty of the crime. My intention has always been to talk about technology when it has a direct impact on Apple's future, I do realize it often ends up going off a tangent. For example, we recently discussed the potential of PPC750 to show that there is a lot of headroom for the chip but Apple's conservative approach shows that Apple is growing up and its product strategy is maturing. I sort of got carried away and the thread evolved into a technical dissection of PPC.

I think the tendency is to talk about the stock when the stock is up and talk about technology when the stock is down. Last week happens to be the latter. I guess the tech talk help keep our heads busy instead of pounding it against the wall.

Eric

I agree and disagree. Some of this chit chat is very interesting and informative especially from an engineering aspect. I get a better idea what Apple is putting together. Recently there was a post regarding a video problem and the solution thereof. If we only talked about where the stock is going and when, there would be a very limited number of posts and very boring. What I am disappointed with is there are very few, if any, technicians/chartist who analyze price movement of the stock.
