"no one sensible to listen to" There are lots of sensible people. They are saying the recent cases require trials to resolve them. Will a guilty verdict be followed by police riots? Only one way to find out, and that's by finding out if an innocent verdict will be followed by non-police riots.

There are violent racially self-selective organizations that have the intent of causing harm to innocents through thuggery and general criminality - inexplicably, there is widespread veneration of street thugs and gang life. It is a choice - as long as thuggery is venerated, segments of society that actively marginalize themselves by such behavior can expect to have problems with the police. Example: " Don't Talk To Police" lyrics. Such a sentiment was not foisted upon anyone - people voluntarily bought this crap.
