>> Actually, you can reach that conclusion. Access to means is a definite risk factor in suicide. Only someone who is completely ignorant of the issues can claim otherwise. Ask any mental health professional. Your rather tortured reasoning notwithstanding.

Maybe someone can reach that conclusion, but not based on the statistics you put forth. And a typical mental health professional has no more understanding of statistics than you have, which appears to be nil. As to my "ignorance of the issues", I'm pretty aware of the issues, but I also understand that the statistics don't support the claim you made (although something may I don't know what it would be).

My reasoning is far less tortured than yours is.

>> The fact of the matter is that being in close proximity to guns means your chances of dying or being severely injured goes up. By a lot.

It really depends on what the gun is being used for. There is no statistical evidence to support your statement. Do you have something else?

As does living in Democrat dominated cities like Detroit or Chicago and being a black youth.

Everyone has "access to the means" of committing suicide. Look at Robin Williams.

How many overdoses, car accidents, drownings are suicides but not counted as such because no note was left?
