Harold, << MUEI fundamentals >>

I'm up on all the mentioned positives pointing to MUEI. They still
have earnings problems which can only point to management. I must
also believe Dell and CPQ aren't sitting aside with flat panel tv
in the future. The entire pc sector for home use will be an all but
dead breed once digitally transmitted tv is in place. I hope MUEI
is savy enough to take the lead. Flat panel can be it, but 1st the
field of view problem must be overcome. Is MUEI really on the forefront or only leaking what others are also doing. Remember, their
inventory problem was a management mis-calculation. I worry they'll
make others. I'm already in heavy at 17, so doubling will take serious
consideration. If they're not focused on digital tv / computer solutions, I give them no chance. IMHO only.

I agree with one exception. CPQ would not put their name on a BTO machine because it would seriously negatively impact their relationships with all their retailers. That is another reason for them to buy a MUEI since they would then have a name other than CPQ with some identity and they would probably be able to use the advertising dollars much more effectively, control inventory completely, buy parts more cheaply, and in general manage the whole thing so much better. So if it is worth $9 as is, it probably would be worth $20 or 25 almost immediately with CPQ running it.
