don't waste your time reazoning with that guy. he said once that he is here to "taunt" us. so he makes up any argument that comes to his sick mind and waits for everybody to react. he will go away when iomega starts moving up again.

>>Your point? You seem to be saying that since IOM won't be earning monopoly rents that they are therefore a bad investment.<<

Brent -

One thing BO hasn't done is to carefully read the news release. In fact, Nomai has not won the war. One preliminary injunction was lifted in France, but others remain in place. The decision on the hearing that took place in France on Nov. 28th is still not in.

With just 5% of the market IOM is exceeding
earning estimates. Can you imagine the value
of the company when they approach 50%? It is
just a matter of time.

I'll just respond to the point that's the important one:
2) You seem to be implying that Nomyidea can make these disks for less than IOM--this doesn't make sense....

I did not mean to imply that. Iomega sells the disks at a high premium. That's their profit--the key to the "give away the razors and sell them the blades" business model that they rely upon. This gives room for Nomai to undercut their prices if Nomai is willing to make less profit on the disks.
