George you would have to ask Joe if they are allowed to hedge the
SMTK shares.I would prefer to sell them and buy our own stock with
the large proceeds. Our future is with DCTC not SMTK as of today.
Many of the better micro-cap's are down year end tax losses?
I reluctantly sold some Utility stocks that have been in the family
for years to add to my DCTC holdings this week.

This morning the CBOE is providing quotes for puts and calls on SMTK.
A few days ago I suggested that there may be some wisdom in DCTC hedging against possible decline in SMTK shares by purchasing some puts. For those of you more familiar with trading in options than I,
here is the link for this morning's quotes:
cboe.pcquote.com

If I am reading the numbers correctly, it appears that the process wouldn't be all that cheap (for 300,000 plus shares of SMTK) and the
periods covered do not extend beyond the end of February, but the
SMTK shares may not be saleable until sometime in March. If Leaps are
also available, I presume they would be even more expensive. George
