re cutting risk of SMTK decline: Don't know if DCTC can do this but if allowed they could go short "against the box", in effect shorting their own shares or a portion there of. Sam

Dear George: I want to take this opportunity to wish all my shareholders a happy NEW YEAR! I look forward to calendar 1998 with excitement because the first half of fiscal 1998 was terrific. We should be coming out of the QP in January and I think you will be pleased.While all our financial statistics have been super the stock price hasn't;however, I told you this wouldn't stand and the Marines were coming,It's true and they are coming. Sometimes the troopships(lawyers) carry them are slow movers but make no mistake they are COMING! SEMPER FIDELIS!
