Many of them are not properly medicated, not fed adequately, don't receive health care and certainly not the protection they should. And many are imprisoned for possession of a plant. I don't think what happened at abu Ghraib should have happened, and the people involved were punished appropriately. I don't think any of it makes me want to take up arms, however. And I don't think it made anyone else do it, despite the claims to the contrary.
