You guys are way off base, IMO, about the office products and that will be born out in the coming months. There are several problems with your arguments. First and foremost, Microsoft's products are increasingly viewed as cost-generators versus productivity-enhancers. Wordprocessing, presentation development tools, spreadsheets and other products from Microsoft can be redesigned to provide better workproduct with less effort and more easily communicated. Maintenance is a nightmare. Microsoft would have to start from scratch with it's early 80's design. It's not going to happen and what you are going to see are the banks and other large clients using modern tools from IBM and others (read: Applix) to save money and increase productivity. I am telling you guys right here and now that MS-Office is dead, watch it happen.
