To be a little more accurate there Scrapps, I think it is my natural cynicism and my prejudice stemming from my belief that MSFT has broken the anti-monoply laws. I freely admit that, as I have yet to see any argument that they haven't contractually restricted OEMs from removing, and at the same time prohibiting the inclusion of, NN.

I think that this one is a pretty weak argument on their part as they clearly have it within their power to remedy this situation. They just don't want to, so I think they are twisting things around to paint the government's case as depriving consumers of superior products, without addressing the real issues. I call it whining, maybe there are other less inflammatory terms for it.

I see in a related issue that there are a number of state attorneys also investigating MSFT. I doubt that much is going to come of this. This looks more like headline grabbing.
