Can anyone explain why the land drillers are not participating in this rebound - PDS,NBR, KEG have all strugled. Is it not true that rates for the land drillers usually lag the other sectors meaning that they have just begun to increase rates. I have spoken with several operators DPSI etc and they say demand is strong and that there is a significant wait for rigs today - These stocks have gotten pounded and are staying down. Sweet I own stocks that go down when the sector sells off but when it recovers my stocks stay down. Glen can you loan me some cash.

Mike,
Though I agree that MDCO may be a good buyout candidate, a simpler explanation is that the stock is bouncing back from its heavily oversold position. SDC and VRC have also been strong on the rebound today after having been even more oversold than the rest of the oversold sector.
Good luck,
Baird
