I AM worried. The cynical side of me hopes that MSFT will quickly crawl in the sewer and play the Washington "game" with the same skill they have shown in growing their business. The ideological dreamer side of me is revolted that playing that game is even necessary. Bill G and company are naive babes-in-the-woods politically. Paying off and pandering to the "pols" is a whole 'nuther ballgame. The "talent" required to succeed in that game is considerably different than that required to grow a successful business in the marketplace.
