The only reason that multi-Universes are postulated... For what it's worth most atheists are not obsessed with finding some idea that causes a problem for religion. I don't think you understand that most atheists are not hostile to religion, they just don't care about religion. God does not enter into the process just as the Easter Bunny is not considered nor is the Loch Ness Monster. There are some valid conjectures in multi-universe hypothesis that are worth considering, even though I am not personally convinced by the idea.
