I think this is what happens when you treat allies so damned badly for six years out of your eight. At some point, they just don't have anything to lose. For the next two years, Netanyahu must recognize that America will not be there for Israel if needed if Obama is in charge. As a result, Netanyahu is wisely willing to work with Congress. Because in the event the situation deteriorates and Israel is attacked, Congress may be his only friend. Further, two years from now Obama will be gone for good and Israel has to look forward to one day reestablishing a working relationship with the US. Netanyahu comprehends Obama's place in history and he needs to be making plans for non-hostile, competent leadership to follow. I think N's doing the right thing, and the so-called "snub" was earned and totally deserved by Obama. If Obama wants the respect of world leaders he needs to earn it and his arrogance and hubris doesn't do that.
