Jane, If one is confident that MHR is not going to disappear - selling calls at $2 - and if called - puts at $2 in reverse can IMO generate a nice return on the shares. I doubt there is any huge upside in ANY of our favorites until the POO and NG become more certain. Simply holding the shares will take patience.

However, that said, in the beaten down state - when the energy pricing outlook stabilizes - those beaten the most may jump the most - at least initially.

Jane,

$5 - $6 would be a home run for us. What's nice about MHR is the options are highly liquid and provide decent for waiting (put writing).

Not expecting any more. Will be selling calls soon too. Get um coming and going.
