The main reason to keep an old computer is to run software that isn't compatible or licensed for a new system. If that's the case, a new graphics card will likely fix your rolling problem.

Suma, I recommend you take your Toshiba laptop into a repair depot and tell them what you want done. This way its done right and you won't have to go through all this stress.

Sometimes its better to let experts handle the job.
