Imagine an American Express card with 5,000 co-holders. There are no limits, except one: Each of the 5,000 co-holders agrees to pay 1/5000th of the bill on the 10th of each month.

What is the inevitable result of such an arrangement?

This is the classic "incentive trap", and that's the way I see Obamacare. So, while the incentive is perverse, I'm doing my best to avoid the trap.

I'm not saying I'll hold out forever.
