TDMA/CDMA hybird. QCOM benefits in other ways. Power control and soft hand off come readily to mind. Does Ericsson have that solved? I think not. Wi;; they end up using it? The amusing thing here is they want one standard to allow global travel, but the INternet renders that needless doesn't? Hmmm, sounds like a Catch-22. Why push for a standard that allows be to take a appliance around the world, when the INternet is pushing NOT to have to do that. Yeah, I love this!!!!!!
