Do you think niacin was causing missing heartbeats? I occasionally have skipped heartbeats and am taking niacin (only 250 mg twice a day), I was thinking my hypertension meds (diuretic + Ramipril) were responsible. Have not had skipped beats for months, but then they started up on the weekend and was getting a couple a minute for a few days. They are mostly gone now. I think I will go off all niacin and fish oil for a month just in case they are causing the skipped beats.
