Do you think niacin was causing missing heartbeats? I occasionally have skipped heartbeats and am taking niacin (only 250 mg twice a day), I was thinking my hypertension meds (diuretic + Ramipril) were responsible. Have not had skipped beats for months, but then they started up on the weekend and was getting a couple a minute for a few days. They are mostly gone now.

I think I will go off all niacin and fish oil for a month just in case they are causing the skipped beats.

Happy belated birthday!

Maybe next time get a CIMT? Carotid intramedia thickness testing. Tells you whether you have plaque in your carotid arteries.

Not sure what you'd do if it's bad, sounds like you are doing all the right things.
