Derek,

OS/2 is notoriously stable hence its fate with developer's who prefer the more challenging development environment of Windows. After 15 years of fighting with the IBM PC and MSFT vapor-trail of broken promises, I've had it. Let someone else spend their free time and money beta-testing MSFT products.

My Windows95 behaves with the current software install with very few lockups; basically, its liveable and I see no need for software with more unused features. It will last me for general home use at least another five years. John Dowd has the right idea; use a Mac, invest in the PC. Don't know how I will get by without an integrated browser in today's world...just have to suffer I guess.

Got Linux today and will give it a try at installation.

Cheers,

Norm
