<<GS didn't do diligent research. A lot of their analysis is guess work.>>

Yes, that seemed apparent to me.

<<It appeared they wanted err on the perceived safe side.>>

Yes, they all seem to do this. No point in risking anything by being
different. After all how can they be faulted for spewing the same
line that others are saying? When one bigger one turns, they will all
begin to turn. I bet they even all dress the same!

It seems to me with the contacts they have and access to information,
that they have to know more than they are saying - or else are
completely incompetent.

If they know more, but say this (and particularly at this time) that
really says something, doesn't it? And if they are just issuing the
party line, that also says something. Which do you think it is?

Maverick,

I noticed your Vickers insider post on the news thread. I'm wondering why Ejabat, Deshpande and several other key people don't show up on the top 10 list. Perhaps it is inaccurate. The ASND proxy statement (I posted this once before) is perhaps more accurate?

In that regard, I'm quite unhappy with the various services that purport to offer (for a fee) insider trading databases (Edgar-Online, insidertrader.com, market guide, etc.) I've not yet found an insider trading database that is accurate or reasonably timely.

Marerick,

RE your recent posts on News Only about NTT piloting DSL:

Do you know if they are or plan to use the DSLTNT in their pilot?
