jeremic--

this isnt volatility. this is a bloodletting. look, i love volitility, but this isnt it. volitile stocks go up AND down. all we have done recently is go down. that is my problem, and it is one DIRECTLY related to the 3 vaporware contracts. when those materialize, we will go up. until then.....

good luck to all,
trey

Jeremic: I've owned these ADSL stocks for 2 years now, basing it on the need for high speed access. I can certainly wait another few months, but the "RUMOR" of insider selling yesterday made me call the company for the first time. I'm convinced ADSL will take off, but I'm starting to question Westell's timeline. I've seen MOT promise an early 1997 production level DMT solution and we are still waiting. The partnership with TI doesn't give me a good feeling that MOT is going to be ready anytime soon. How many of us believed until recently that Westell's DSLAM was in production in early 1997? I was under the impression that the service providers were trialing ADSL service, not that Westell was testing and trialing their DSLAM. Westell now feels they can tell their INVESTOR's that their DSLAM will be production ready in 1Q98. Alcatel's racking is ready.. and it's shipping. I still don't have a problem with the 3 contracts, I can wait. I'm becoming concerned that the 3 contracts may not wait for Westell. GTE has released that they aren't going to wait for a DSLAM solution... until later.
