I've been trying to figure out why.......in my mind Lycos could be trading above Excite.......with vapor profits. So I clicked started flagging articles about Lycos to try and figure it out. fool.yahoo.com Evidently I must be series of articles like the above, " Cybersurfers hit the Lycos page primarily to seek out other sites. With less than half the unique visitors as Yahoo! but barely trailing Excite, the company is the third-largest online search engine resource. " Now the last numbers I saw, November/98, by Relevant Knowledge. Reference post #630 on this thread. From the above quote. With less than 1/2 (5,929,000) the unique visitors as Yahoo!(18,025,000), but barely trailing Excite(11,327,000), the company is the third largest online search engine resource. Seek has(7,728,000) unique visitors. No wonder why they call it Motley FoOL...........
