James, re:<clone sales increasing from 34% a year ago to 42% now> How is Reseller News defining "clone computer?" Here's some reasons why the cloners are prospering when everyone was predicting their demise. One reason I think is that people like to know who built their computer so if there's a problem, they can talk to the builder and not an anonymous company in a far city. Secondly, the big companies drop their prices too slowly because of the distribution channel, and finally, there's more and more knowledgeable users who know what they want and only the local shops will give them exactly what they want.
