Asian situation

I'm personally very interested to hear from people about the situation in Asia. I personally get the impression that quite many people talking about an Asian crisis have not been over there recently (No offense to Glenn, please. I talk about people on CNBC etc. who get big exposure). I'm not saying that there is no crisis. Maybe there is. For my taste, I just hear too little differentiation.

Actually, I haven't been to Asia either recently, so I could be right just as well as wrong with my view. Have you been to Asia recently? Or have any friends over there? Do we have any Asian visitors on this board?
