Paul, all I'm saying is that one of the reasons for the aggressive price cuts is to create an urgent need to upgrade to the Pentium II. The public, I think, is "chipped out". Their extremely satisfied with earlier less powerful versions of the pentium. Why should someone upgrade to Pentium II when MMX or even Pentium 100 satisfies all their needs? Nevertheless, I think Intel is one of the greatest companies in the World and their future looks extremely bright. What is happenning here is quite ugly ( and will get uglier before it ends ) and represents a GREAT BUYING OPPORTUNITY.
