Corel and Chapter 11

That is really too bad. I just used Wordperfect to prepare a brief for the Supreme Court. I saved approximately $6000 over going to a printer and having them do the type and layout. I also got an extra few days in preparing the brief.

Does this product deserve to bite the dust. Absolutely not. Those people that think Microsoft's monopoly is good for progress in the arts and sciences should just take a look at this one example of what is being lost by monopoly practices.

Will anyone ever try to advance the capabilities of word processors after MSFT solidifies its monopoly? I can just see some small company pitching that to the venture capitalists.

Take a look at the garbage paint program MSFT includes with Windows---ossified for years, copied from Apple, a serious joke. That's what you get from a MSFT monopoly. "Bob"

I'm trully surprised that Pope William isn't issuing photos suitable for framing on the wall. OR does he send those out to employees that work 90 hours a week for inspiration.

Microsoft is clearly out of control.

Hi Joe, I haven't followed Corel lately but I knew they were having big trouble. Do you know how much the stock has dropped in the last 45 days or so...Is it gonna dent that 1 billion? I wonder how their other investments are going?
