I would have thought that this announcement would automatically cause the stock to drop 20% due to the dilution.

I think this is orchestrated to allow for the year allocation of stock options to the two primary managers (as well as board of directors) to be based on a low value for the stock. Look to see if they dont make some other great announcement as soon as the option price is established so that they can instantly be "in the money" on their options.

I may be cynical but with this company how can you not be?

That press release is a bit bizaare. They're going to issue 12 million new shares and give them to a company in China (Makes a normal Reg S sale sound like a stock buyback), but for what? COPY must really be desperate for something to say. Why don't they just go sign a Magicom distribution agreement with a leading (un-named) Somalian electronics distributor?

This company should be the subject of a Twilight Zone episode. Rod Serling, why did you leave us?
