We spend quite a lot of time traveling and we have a ceramic studio. I'm sure this enrages Commissar Mitch McConnell and his pals at Fox News, but we still live in a free country and I couldn't be happier.

I appreciate some people are not mentally capable of retiring early, but I find the Republican obsession with mandatory Labor Force Participation to be fascist and un-American.

I recall a real Republican "company man" who went to work for Chevron when he was 16 and extended his employment in the Land Department one year at a time after he was 65. When he was 70, his manager didn't want to renew his employment. We had a retirement party for him, he took the train home and died of a heart attack at the wheel of his car in the parking lot of the train station, saving Chevron the cost of his pension.

It may be best for some Republicans to be forced to work at least 40 hours a week until the day they die. But we shouldn't allow their "special needs" dictate how other Americans choose to live their life.
