Another ignorant post by someone who purports to be an "investor".

I will say this.

I've got 6 kids and for the last 16 years I've been putting the beans in the burritos from trading stocks. NOT DAYTRADING.

Stocks like SPND which I no longer owned but started buying in '98 at .18 cents. Last year's income came from ONE stock that I've held since 2000.

... and too many others to mention. Lots of stories though I can assure you.

there are better regional banks to look at.
Perhaps, and when one you find one trading 25% below book value with a PE under 5 let us know.

... and like I said... just watch what happens when the buying comes into the stock.

Re MBNC- you can pull the FDIC records for the basic balance sheet and income statement. There is all the info you need.
