Here is the APAT part:

Transceiver: Methode Electronics offers a series of optical LED transceivers for ATM and FDDI data communication networks. 1300 nm LED is used for environments like ATM OC-3 up to 155 Mbps and FDDI at 125 MBaud. 155 Mbps transceiver is available from Lucent Technologies and others. 155 and 622 Mbps SONET/SDH transmitters are available from
Laser Diode Inc[61,62]. APA Optics provides 4-channel Integrated WDM tunable receiver in which the signal on each of the 4 wavelength channels is individually detected, amplified, and coupled. Optical signal levels of -27 dBm can be detected and digital signal data rates up to 622 Mb/sec, or analog signal frequencies of 400 MHz can be amplified and driven through a 50W line to electrical instrumentation.

Optical Amplifier: Four channel photodetector and electronic amplifier designed for high density WDM fiberoptic communication links is available from APA Optics, Inc. Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers featuring fiber-to-fiber gains of 30-38 dB at wavelengths ranging from 1535 nm to 1565 nm are available from Lucent Technologies with either 980 nm or 1480 nm pump lasers[61,62]. Optivision offers an optical link amplifier for peak gain of 13 to 16 dB (typical) at center wavelength of 1310 nm 20 nm, optical bandwidth of greater than 40 nm, polarization sensitivity of 1 dB (typical, 2 dB maximum) and 30 dB..
Aromat produces 1 ms, triple beam amplifiers.
