Like I said. The whole concept eludes them. For them, insurance is a way for a company to generate profits. If someone wants to mitigate risks, then that is socialism.

Unless you are a large corporation. Then risk mitigation is known as "taxpayers". It is how the Founders wanted it...

Next time you look at the plan Intel provides for you, take note of all the benefits it provides that you will probably never use. What insurance plan do you know of that doesn't provide a spectrum of benefits that will never be used by all insurees?
The difference is that my employer pays for it. It's all part of the benefits package that is used to attract top quality talent.

You're still thinking like all of this will only cost you an extra $4.50/month. Same old same old, you don't know where the hidden costs are because you don't give a damn.
