>> These snowless ski resorts show just how bad California’s drought really is

You people have totally wrecked the environment out there.

You're going to be bitching about it when we start charging for water. I've actually got a well that produces good drinking water in my front yard; we don't use it anymore.

You think I could sell that to the water company for them resell to you guys?

BTW, stop tinkering with the environment before you totally screw it up beyond repair.

WR, nice try. I was just at Lake Tahoe three weeks ago, and it wasn't nearly this bad.

That photo looks like one of the side trails in Squaw Valley that isn't maintained by snowmaking or grooming.

No doubt about it, the snow in Lake Tahoe this year isn't as abundant as it usually is, but that's actually a common occurrence. I remember it being this bad in 2009 as well, only for Tahoe to have some of its best years in 2010-2013.

Bad news, Wharfie. Lake Tahoe ski resorts are opening six days early this year:

Storms to allow Tahoe's Heavenly and Northstar to open early

Someone should tell Obama that his global warmey climate changey thingy doesn't seem to be hurting Tahoe's ski season this year ...
