Hi GG,

I have many ag farmer friends in Wisconsin.

When wheat, beans or corn are harvested - I HAVE NEVER SEEN a tractor out there spraying roundup prior to combining.

1) the cost of spraying the crops with roundup plus the diesel cost would be huge.

In the case of corn - coops use natural gas to dry the corn after it is combined. It would be impossible to run a tractor over 6 foot corn stalks just to spray roundup on them.

It sounds like a very incredible story that is intended to foster fear of the integrity of the crop.

I have friends that do combining almost 24 hours a day for over a week.

Just never saw a tractor running over about to be harvested crops.

Just some input from a Wisconsin country boy FWIW.

Bob
