To anyone,

Did I read the press release today correctly. Is the AccuZone imaging system the first to allow a laboratory staff to automaticaly read and interpret Kirby-Buer susceptibility plates in a consistent and objective manner, and immediately report test results via the integrated data management system?

If it is the first and only system, wouldn't every laboratory want one? What would be AccuMed's share of the $250 million market?

Have you noticed the constant thread with all of AccuMed's products is their proprietary software that allows them to automatically interpert and report the test results allowing for much quicker reporting to the doctor who orders the test?

At the DMC University Laboratories the reduction in the time required to complete the entire testing process with the Cytopathology System and report the results back was 82%.

Perhaps we have under estimated the importance of their data management system which provides for a wide range of data tracking and reporting capabilities. We have focused on increase efficicency and quality of the tests but haven't really discussed the data management.

Cisco,

Maybe the Med-men were giving the unofficial cold-shoulder response to the Vector Securities Analyst. (What happens when you take the last three letters off of analyst? I just figured that out now!) Funny how Vector only owned a whopping 2,100 shares in their M/M inventory at the close of Nov. It seems like Sandy from Vector was keying on timing and our Med-men were having nothing to do with it. I believe your keen observation and summation is well warranted and hopefully accurate. I'd love to see Vector have to make a mad scramble to fill (purchase) their new inventories. They do however own a percentage interest aside from their M/M holdings?? (I do believe,I haven't looked for a while).

<Off Subject> <Off Subject> <Off Subject> <Off Subject>

Shadow of the ACMI Yahoo thread posted a very nice apology to the Venerable and Gifted-"Cisco"-Researcher of Silicon Investor Fame. Man what a following you have. The posters love ya! Shadow's life will never be the same without you. To read your words but alas' not be able to post/respond to it must be breakin a heart out there somewhere.

When is the SI ACMI thread going to host the first??? electronic thread Christmas party? Everyone can synchronize time zones and log on with a Hot-buttered-rum in their coaster. We can all have our own Christmas songs on in the background and post to one another. Sounds like it might be fun if we can do it. Anybody out there up for an electronic forum party?

No I can't imagine what might of happened with the stock close had the very-favorable news not come out. It was out early too. Thanks again Dr. Winrow,- by the way are 'you' up for a thread forum Christmas party from the confines of your own monitor. No drinking and driving worries. You can get to meet some people, etc. Maybe even Shadow from the Yahoo ACMI thread will find a way of getting there. Maybe some other Yahoo posters will try to crash. I know you must be thinking this guy's brainwave activity must be adversely affected from sitting in front of the electron field of a computer for too long. Your probably right! But it might be interesting if we can pull it off? Any suggestions to dates anyone?

Frank

To all readers of the AccuMed Thread,

It is with great pleasure that I post this copy of an Email that I received from Dr. Dana Winrow Investor Relations for AccuMed International, Inc.;

"It is my intention to join the Silicon Investor discussion group and make myself more readily available to field such questions. Thank you very much for bringing the forum to my attention. I hope to see you online soon!"

Regards,

Dana Winrow, MD
Investor Relations
AccuMed International, Inc.

Welcome aboard Dr. Winrow! I think I can speak for everyone and say that it is a great leap for the investment community when companies such as AccuMed are not afraid to engage in direct open lines of communication with shareholders and perspective
shareholders. I am sure we are all heartened to be associated with a company such as AccuMed that realize there are more expedient ways of dealing with shareholders and their concerns.

In a few years from now I am guessing we will see this as the
De-Facto standard for the entire industry. Your presence is a testimonial of the desire of the Company to better-inform and educate their shareholders.

The decorum of this thread is, and has been to further the understanding of the productivity/qualitative enhancing medical diagnostic equipment manufacturers, with a primary emphasis on AccuMed International, Inc in particular. The recent offer by Dr. Winrow indicates that our collective writings and attempts at an understanding of this industry and AccuMed, have been heard and answered. Thank you Dr. Winrow and AccuMed as well as those who read and post here.

Respectfully

Frank
