>> WR, you should write a California initiative that puts all of the climate change "deniers" into internment camps.

They would do it in a minute if they could get away with it.

They've been marginalized here. Congress and the World Court have to make it a crime against humanity before we can do something.
Also, I don't want to put deniers in camps. That's too good for them.

And its not just about blacks and whites. Tom Schweich was running for gov of MO. Shortly into his campaign, the chairman of the GOP in MO began spreading the rumor that he was Jewish. From what I understand, Schweich was Christian. Apparently, spreading the rumor that someone is Jewish is enough to derail a pol. campaign in MO. And yes, its 2015. Schweich was incensed and ended up committing suicide. People were shocked. MO chairman denied he brought Schweich's religion as a smear campaign. Very few were buying it. A party donor wrote that the chairman brought up Schweich's religion in his office in a way to negate Schweich. Finally, Spence Jackson, com. director for Schweich, called for the chairman's resignation. Other GOPers concurred. A former GOP senator said the chairman should be fired. One month later nothing had happened and then the chairman announced he didn't think he should have to resign. This past Friday Spence Jackson committed suicide. And yes, its 2015.

Second suicide shocks Missouri Republicans

Just weeks after Missouri state auditor and candidate for governor Tom Schweich shot himself, Spence Jackson, his communications director has also been found dead of apparent suicide. Dave Helling, columnist for the Kansas City Star, joins for discussion. Duration: 20:19
