I agree. I believe most everything eventually becomes a commodity unless you can call it a fashion item. Apple seems to be trying to do this starting way back when they gave Mac's to the schools in the 1990s. I still remember my mother, RIP, thinking it was such a huge deal that she was selected to be the "Computer lady" for the school where she was the first one to get on in her class.... and Apple trained all those future customers to mistakenly believe they were better machines... they "worked better" and still do, mostly because they do less. Do less so easier to not get into off modes, attract viruses, etc... PCs and perhaps my Samsung Galaxy S5, try to do too much for most people. Jobs was very insistent that he keep HIS PRODUCTS (not theirs) simple... part of his zen I believe plus he was impressed by B&O design (I think the Apple store in Stanford Shopping center was pretty much modeled after the B&O store there... ) bang-olufsen.com
