I don't think you are understanding what you are reading. I won't pass on your motivation for that. For one, that isn't the definition by NIH. It is from Merriam-Webster.

But still, none of those say anything different from what I have been saying. None of them addressed the issues I have raised.

A fertilized ovum is human and alive. Egg worshipers want to give it full human rights. Which is a pretty stupid thing to do. All of you hand waving and dancing around does not change these facts.

If you are so devoted to protecting human life, do something about the ones already born. We know they are viable, something that can't be said about a typical fertilized ovum. Odds are it isn't viable.
