Not to get too political, but there is a huge sector of America that gets freebees and the vote for those who grant them. There are those who over achieve and create wealth and they will fund social security and medicare , and I suspect with time, will be told that through means testing are not eligible recipients. That's a form of theft or wealth redistribution. I hope the average American has a "get off your ass and go to work viewpoint". We have allowed our politicians to be the biggest thiefs in the room. My expectation is that a sense of fairness and respect for hard work and its associated rewards, is ultimately what moves the independents that makes the pendulum swing the other way. I may be wrong - and I may need to sell it all, and move to New Zealand,<smile> Bob
