But as of right now, this moment, homosexuality has not been proved to be anything other than a choice. Behavior is a choice and we all know people who choose contrarian behavior just to provoke a response of some sort. So even behavior doesn't result in clarity about such a deep seated thing. Orientation remains a mystery to me, accept as people self identify ... but I view that with some skepticism as well. We can gather data on it and scientists can probe the material possibilities but I doubt we will get any closer to certainty on the nature vs nurture question.

I'm adult enough to say the science is inconclusive when the facts clearly indicate that. I'm not here claiming it is choice, or that it will not be proved at some point not to be a choice. But as of right now, this moment, homosexuality has not been proved to be anything other than a choice. It may be a choice that is made at a very young age. Or it may be that the science just isn't there yet. Either way, as of now, there is no evidence that it isn't like ASD, where you're born with it and have to live with it if you don't choose to. Idjit, why would anyone choose to be gay in this country when there are asshole Rs ready to tar and feather them or hang from the nearest tree??? I think Rs hate gays more than they hate blacks..........and that's saying a lot. Jesus, get a clue, dude!
