Yes. Nikkei down 923 tonight, and s&p 500 down -8.90 now. So, which way will we go tomorrow ?

Your statements are very valid, but the one thing you're missing is the mood of the crowd. Right now the crowd wants out at almost any cost - fearful that if they don't get out, they'll be taking a big time hit later. It's all fear and greed - the only emotionals that rule the street and right now, fear is ruling, and big time ! Blood is all over the street and it appears to be spreading. No one wants to play the part of 'hero' and step in and buy, so the trend will be down. At some point, it'll change, it always does, but right now I wouldn't expect any big rise in the market (IMHO). We'd be lucky to stay in the 7000's over the next 3-4 months.
