Very good example of your technical "expertise".

Any of current CPU are capable to move data at about 40-80MBytes/sec at least. This is 100 times faster than the 10base2 ethernet speed (the speed any "general purpose communication" is not dreaming yet).

Therefore, your "high-speed connectivity" does not demand for "high-powered processors". Bloatware does.
